Beeswax Wraps
Our beeswax wraps replace plastic wrap and aluminum foil. They are made with 100% cotton in our most popular prints and use beeswax sourced from Atlanta hives. Our wraps are a great way to save leftovers and make lunches and snacks on the go more eco-friendly.
How they Work
Because beeswax has a low melting point, you can simply squish the wrap in your hand to warm it up. Your body heat will cause the wraps to become tacky and cling to themselves as well as most surfaces. Once they are warmed, you can wrap or cover your food. They work both at room temperature and in the refrigerator.
Because beeswax is naturally antibacterial and antimicrobial to wash them you can simply rinse them under your sink with cold water and some dish some (if necessary). Then, let them dry and store them in a cool dry place like a tupperware drawer or with your other kitchen utensils.
